Business Launching

Welcome to MLMWisdomBites, a site for men and women seeking help at growing their business.

 Let’s get right to it.
 Launching Your Business With a Private Business Reception
A Private Business Reception, or PBR is a very effective way to
contact your warm market; notify them about your products and your
business; and ask for referrals. This is a simple way to contact
large numbers of people at once, making effective use of your time
and modeling for others how efficient a home business with us can
be. It’s a system that has been proven to duplicate very rapidly,
building a solid downline quickly.
You choose a date, or number of dates to have a PBR in your home and invite everyone you know. Include friends, family, neighbors
and business associates on your invitation list. Also invite any current team members you have and encourage them to bring guests.

Excitement and energy is created with larger numbers at events.
And, your team will grow more quickly this way. Choose a time that will be the most convenient for the most people or consider having two, one during the day and one in the evening or on a weekend.  You may also want to plan a few PBR events over the first month so  you can capture more people as your list of contacts grows. 

If you  are spending five to ten minutes each day working on your list, it will be growing.
Make sure your PBR event is scheduled for no more than 2 hours and let people know that right up front. People are busy and will be
more receptive to attending when there is a START and a STOP time designated on the invitation. Also, providing prizes and drawings
is an enticement.

You have OPTIONS….. CHOOSE ONE.
OPTION One: This one is not designed to be a party where you sell products
(although you probably will and that is a bonus. DON’T turn down the orders) It option is designed to let others know about your products, your opportunity and ask for referrals. This is an event to MARKET your business and your products and you want to use it for maximum exposure. In fact, tell people to leave their wallets at home; there will be nothing to
purchase. This puts them at ease.
Use the tools of your company such as a DVD to explain the  business; set up a product display and have information for people
to take home.
Spend 10 minutes mixing and mingling with simple refreshments; then  invite your guests to take their seats. Share a 2-3 minute story
about yourself and why you got involved with the company. Show the DVD and then pass out information and invite guests to preview and/or sample the products, if applicable.

OPTION Two: It is designed to let others know about your products and GET ORDERS, and let them know about your opportunity and ask for referrals. This is an event to MARKET your business and your products and you want to use it for maximum exposure.
Use the tools of your company such as a DVD to explain the  business; set up a product display and have information for people to take home.
Spend 10 minutes mixing and mingling with simple refreshments; then invite your guests to take their seats. Share a 2-3 minute story about yourself and why you got involved with the company. Send a follow up thank you card the next day and be sure to follow up with a phone call to each guest.
Get some PBRs on your calendar and among your team and your  business will grow.

Planning Success



Success in your business is going to take some planning. 
 BUT spend all of your time PLANNING..... ACTION is very important. 





You can't just wish and hope. Take some time to write out
your vision and your plan for success.

First, review your goals and objectives in your business.

Also, reflect on the available time you have to commit to your
business.

Get clear on the action steps that will take you where you want to
be.

Write down your goals on a 3 by 5 index card. Write down your 5
most important action steps for each day.

Place these near your phone, computer, tape to your mirror, etc.
Make sure this is in front of you each day.

If you get side tracked one day....oh well. Each day is a new
beginning.

Tracking is essential to your business. It does two things - it
improves on those actions you are already good at and it shows you
your weaknesses.

Pay attention to those weaknesses. There is great wisdom there as to
why things may not be going the way you want.

One of my mentors once said - "Is your business growing? People
spend months "doing" the business, then get a paycheck and think
'this isn't working.' That's not true! What they are DOING isn't
working."

Certain proven activities produce results in network marketing.
These don't really change from company to company.

Get a simple spiral notebook and write down what you do in
your business each day. At the end of the month, you can
look back and see why your results are what they are.


If you have a full month of activities such as calling
prospects, following up, scheduling appointments and
showing your business, your paycheck will begin to
reflect it.

If the book is virtually empty, it will also reflect that,
as well.

Make your plan and then work your plan - EVERY DAY!

Why Blogging is Important for your Business



You must Blog. $$$
If you have been on my team for any period of time I have probably shot over one of my Blog posts for you to read.  This Blog posts have helped me introduce who I am to the online community.  They have also helped me to do what I am passionate about, which is teach., share.  Blogging is a part of social media.  People want to know who you are before they want to know what you are selling or offering. They want to know the source.  Blogging can open the doors to communication with your market.

Blogging is just writing a letter.  We have gotten away from that with the internet and emailing and texting.  get back to it please.
  
Blogging is a very effective marketing tool for any online business and there are many reasons for that.
It's important to understand why having a blog is really important for anyone who wants to attract attention on the World Wide Web.
Blogs are usually easy to install and set up by using the one-click installation tools that these days come standard with most hosting packages. Word press is the most common and most popular platform for a blog.
I use both Wordpress and most often www.Blogger.com.

You can get a FREE Blogger account.
Once you have your blog installed it is important to know that every time you post any new information, search engines are quick to pick up on this. They give a high priority to blogging content on average since they deem this as fresh news.  If you are Blogging about your business it is out on the net.
When a person Googles a way t do something or to find out about a business they just saw online or even on Facebook a blog posts can pop up.
Blogging is also a fresh alternative to emails. You can add all sorts of interactive or multimedia content to a blog to enhance your message. Using RSS feeds your content and message can quickly spread across the internet. If you already have a big email list, you may choose to post your newsletters on your blog, and simply mail a link to the post to your list.

There's just so much more you can do with a blog than with standard email. The comments feature on blogs, for example, makes it easy for your readers to leave feedback. This way you can determine what news and information your readers enjoy, and you can also get some valuable feedback.
It's easy to monetize your blog by using revenue sharing programs like Google Ad sense or affiliate programs as well. A blog is a fun, but powerful way to inform, entertain and profit...while building a loyal readership at the same time.
So if you haven’t started blogging I challenge you to step outside the box this week and start a Blog about what you love about your online marketing.  First think of a name for your blog.  Mine is Multiple Streams of income.  I chose that because that is what I do.

Can the Average Person Be Successful in Network Marketing

Have you ever wondered what it really takes to make it in Network
Marketing
? Is it possible for the average person?


Are there secrets to success that you don't know about? That your
sponsor is holding back from you?

Does it seem to difficult and so you are thinking of giving up on
your dreams of a fantastic lifestyle and freedom from financial
stress?

Can the Average Person Be Successful in Network Marketing?


The next few blog posts are going to uncover the answers to these
questions.

Let's talk about the first two questions - What does it really
takes to make it in Network Marketing and is it possible for the
average person?

Here are some things to consider:

First of all, what it takes is a few key things, and these are not
difficult to do and learn, and at the same time, easy to NOT do.

These things include learning the system your company uses to share
the products and opportunity. Use this system - if it's working for
those who are making money, it will work for you, too.

After that, you just need to follow the steps detailed out for you.

Make your active candidate list and ALWAYS be adding to it. Use a
memory jogger so you think of people who you otherwise wouldn't and
if you MUST, start a separate list that is your chicken list. Just
don't be tempted to put everyone on that list. In fact, it should
be VERY small. If you want to grow your business FAST, start with
that list. Be brave and watch the universe provide for you!


Now, develop some "scripting language for success" and plan/know
what you are going to say. Make it brief, let them know WHY you
though of them and are calling, ask them if they would review some
information on your business and then set a time to get it to them
and a time to follow up.

You have got to keep reading! 

Get the information in their hands and follow up at the time you
stated.

If you will commit to doing this just twice a day, five days a
week; duplicate it with your team, you will have amazing success!

Which leads us to the answer for the next question - can the
average person do it. The average person CAN if the average person
WILL. If you look at most top income earners in ANY company, you
will find that they are very average!

Go after it! Be the champion you want to be!

How to Add Friends on Facebook

 If you are like me when you started online marketing all of your Facebook friends were family and friends who are not interested in business.  But you kept telling them about your product and biz opp with no sign ups and no interest.  Chances are you were getting on their last nerves.

Well like I said, I did it too.  I have since realized that I need to be marketing to Like Minded People.
Many of those people are on Facebook.  We just have to friend them.  And here is how.

#1  I have found two ways very successful at building my friend's list on Facebook.
The first way is by going to the Facebook Groups I am in.
 If you are not in 275 Marketing Groups that will let you post your biz opp or product offers look at my blog on Joining Groups.)

Anyway, while I am in the group I look at the wall posts and liking the posts of businesses that I do really like.  I also make comments on about 3-5 posts in each group I visit.
 
After  I like and comment  I then post my promotions or content.  It is important to post my business promotion or content last because what ever I comment on will rise to the TOP of the page, and I want my post to be at the top. Now you are probably wondering how this builds your friend's list.

Well here goes.  If you  do this, the people whose posts you liked or commented on will probably send you a Friend  request. They want to know what your interest level is.   Accept their request then IN YOUR/THEIR CHAT BOX or IM,  tell them .  I like associating with like-minded people.  and that is why I liked your post. Tell them you wish them luck and will bump up their Facebook posts when you see them.  Them them you  would love to add them to your Facebook friends list.   And ask is they can you suggest some of their friends that might be like-minded as you two?

 Way #2  Send this Private Message/Chat box to the individuals on your friends list. DO NOT POST THIS ON YOUR WALL NOR THEIR WALL.
"Hey (name)  Thank you for being my Friend on Facebook. I like like-minded people. Will you suggest friends for me? I'll do the same for you if you like. Thank you"

One night I sent the above  private message to 20 friends.   4 friends responded with , "Yes."  Then within an hour I had 200 friends request in my box.  I am not going  to accept them all in one day.  I don't want to go to Facebook Jail.  I accepted about 30 last night... just 10 at a time.  But my friends list form 860 to over one thousand in a couple of days.  And i get new friends request everytime I do these steps.
 So there you have it.  BUILD that Facebook list.

Marketing that Really Works


I have tried some different methods of marketing and I am getting positive results.  I want to share with you what I do. Use what you will and file the rest.  Just make sure that you are taking ACTION.

If you are just sticking your toe into the online world in your Direct Sales and Network Marketing business, you may be wondering how the tools of the "online, cyber world" fit into your game plan. Does this describe you?

Here is the basic concept around how things flow online -

Social Sites - introduce
Blogging - converts
Websites - sell

Let's expand on these:

Social Sites - these are sites such as Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc - the primary goal here is to introduce YOURSELF and develop a following and build relationships.

Blogging converts - after you've developed a relationship with some of your followers and friends online, the next step they will take to learn more about you is to drip your blogging topics on them. This is designed to convert them into raving fans, customers, and ultimately, some business builders.

Websites sell - this is part of your blog, in most cases. This is the part that tells the story of YOU, or the




ABOUT ME page; it also can contain links to find out more about working with you, your company, and an opt in form where you can begin building a list.

Take out blogging and sales decrease substantially. Search Engine's love blogs, and you can be successful
even if you don't know a lot about the technical side of things.
Just make sure you create great content that engages your audience and doesn't just SELL your opportunity.

Use text and some video and link out to other sites from time to time.  Those are some basics for using the tools online!

Lead with Product or Opportunity?



Network Marketers have asked this question for decades and although the answer will vary depending on who you ask, there is really only one right answer - lead with a solution.

No one ever bought a drill because they wanted a drill - instead, it's a hole in the wall that they are after. The drill provides the solution. Likewise, very few people ever wake up and say - "Hey, I think I will join a Network Marketing company today. I want to be a MLM Professional."

What really happens is they wake up and say - "I'm tired of my Boss; I'm tired of my job; I need more money; I want more control; etc."
Or, if they are in search of a solution for something that your product line offers, that's what they are looking for.

Your goal then is to determine what solution your "product" can offer and offer that solution. By "product", that can be either the product of opportunity, if your prospect is looking for more money or a financial solution. Or, it can be your actual company product line, if your prospect is looking for a solution that can be solved through your products.

This is where defining your target market becomes critical. Yes, everyone "could" be right for the opportunity product, but not everyone will be interested and so why waste your time or theirs?
Your number one goal is to find people each day who have a need that your business can offer a viable solution for and then offer that solution. From there, it's up to your prospect to decide if that solution is right for them.

Offer Solutions, that's what you do! And the more solutions you can offer to more problems, the bigger your check will grow!
